About George Chalmers
George has over a decade’s experience working within the performing arts as an actor, a musician, a writer and a theatre-practitioner. George gained a BA (Hons) Drama degree from Liverpool John Moore's University, and he has worked with creative organisations such as The BBC, Sparkle Media, Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres, New Perspectives Theatre, Mikron Theatre, Hull Truck Theatre, The Unity Theatre, Blink Productions, Richmond Theatre Royal and Anchor Creative Education. As a drama/music specialist within education, George has travelled the world leading creative-literacy workshops– utilising the performing arts to expand pupils’ knowledge of spelling, punctuation and grammar. George has extensive experience as a theatre specialist working creatively with children and young adults. He has taught drama with Lancashire Youth Performing Arts, Altru Drama, Artis Education, Liverpool Everyman Youth Theatre, TheatreTrain and numerous Stagecoach schools!
